Rotala Rotundifolia (Mini Pot)

The Latin name means "the plant with the round leaves''. But this only applies to the marsh variety, which has circular leaves.

Rotala rotundifolia from South-East Asia has long, thin leaves (2-3 cm wide) and 15-30 long stems. Unlike other Rotala species it is relatively undemanding, although it needs good light to produce red leaves. It forms side shoots willingly, becoming compact and bushy. This also means that it is hard for light to reach the lower leaves, so the plant should be pruned frequently.

Mini Pots

These are very young plantlets, grown in a small coco fibre basket. The size is between an invitro plant and a potted plant. They usually only contain 1-2 plants / stems. They are greenhouse grown, so not sealed like 1-2-grow cups. They can come with hitchhikers like little flies, but are generally snail free!

Please note: Due to the low weight of the basket, the plants can be thrown around the packaging in transit. This is to be expected and usually does not damage the plant.
